September 2 - 9 2023

This trip will showcase the absolute best riding in the Julian Alps. Slovenia is a stunning small country sandwiched between Italy, Croatia, Hungary and Austria. Messrs Roglic and Pogacar have certainly helped to put this beautiful nation on the map. Our 6 days of riding will include the beautiful lakes at Bled and Bohinj before heading to the cobbled climb of Vrsic that climbs out of Kranjska Gora. We'll enjoy the beautiful Soca valley and onto the highest and toughest climb in Slovenia, the Mangart Saddle.

The latter part of this trip will see us ride into Italy with a brief sortie into Austria too. Monte Zoncalan will be our final day challenge with it's [email protected]% providing a tough finale to this dramatically beautiful tour.

Who will enjoy this trip?

Full details of each day's route for this tour will appear here very soon. Each day of the tour will involve 80-120kms of riding with 1500-2500m of climbing. As with all of our tours adventurous riders will always have the opportunity to do more if required! This is a tour where distances ridden will not be huge but the climbing will be very steep at times. Monte Zoncolan and several of the other climbs on this tour will provide a big challenge to any level of rider. The main prerequisite for the trip is being prepared and happy to ride 5-6 hours each day. We would anticipate most riders on this trip having already ridden in high mountains before, but not always. As is always the case please contact us to find out more as to whether this trip will be suited to you.
