The 2025 Granfondo World Championships will take place on the spectacular roads around Lorne, Australia. Riders qualify via a worldwide selection of Granfondo events, qualified riders will then have the chance to ride the final in Australia and battle for the iconic World Champion rainbow jerseys in their age categories.
October 19th will see a 131km road race, starting and finishing in Lorne. 1800m of climbing will test the riders and the final 40km along the Great Ocean Road will offer a breathtaking finale to a beautiful course. On October 17th riders can test their speed on a 22km trial course that still packs in around 350m of climbing.
We will be providing accommodation and support for the the event to make sure riders are as comfortable and prepared as possible to perform at their best.
We anticipate that many riders will be travelling across the world to ride this event and it will make good sense to incorporate the event into a wider, Australian holiday. We can advise riders on all the sights worth seeing and help design a fantastic Australian experience. The Great Ocean Road that extends westwards towards Warrnambool is certainly worth exploring as is Melbourne and a whole host of other spectacular sites in the state of Victoria.
