SUMMARY:Tour de France 2026 - the Tour reaches it's climax!
DESCRIPTION:This tour will be a fantastic chance to immerse ourselves into 4 stages of the Tour de France. A great combination of riding the exact roads that the pros race on\, then watching the Tour ride past. With stages 19 and 20 both finishing on the legendary Alpe d’Huez\, the climax to the 2026 Tour de France is sure to be a classic! \nTour de France schedule\nMonday July 20\nCollection of riders from Lyon and Geneva Airports and transport to our chalet in Vaujany. For riders staying on from the Etape du Tour trip today will be an opportunity to relax and perhaps a local recovery ride \nTuesday July 21\nThe  Tour de France arrives in the area tomorrow so today is all about riding. There will be an opportunity to explore any of the classic local cols. Lots of flexibility on route choice today as we choose from the Col du Glandon\, Col de la Croix de Fer or the spectacular climb to Les Deux Alpes. \nWednesday July 22\nStage 17 of the Tour will take riders on a flat stage from Chambery to Voiron. We’ll head down the valley from our accommodation to enjoy some beautiful riding around the Grenoble area before settling down to watch the race. \nThursday July 23\nStage 18 goes from Voiron to Orcières. We’ll ride a stunning loop that includes the Col de la Morte and the Col d’Ornon which will intercept the Tour route around halfway into the stage. We’ll watch the pros ride past before continuing our loop back to base. \nFriday July 24\nThe pros will ride today’s Stage 19 from Gap to Alpe d’Huez. Today we’ll give riders a chance to ride the infamous Alpe d’Huez climb a few hours before the pros. This will be a very atmospheric experience with thousands of other riders joining us on the climb beofre settling down to watch the climax of the stage from your preferred vantage point. \nSaturday July 25\nStage 20 is a very local affair! Starting from Bourg d’Oisans and culminating for a second day on Alpe d’Huez. This stage will take in the Col de la Croix de Fer\, the Col du Télégraph\, the Col du Galibier and the beautiful Col de la Sarenne. The will be plenty of flexibility for us to see the start and finish today and a potential ascent of the Col de la Sarenne before the pros. \nSunday July 26\nWhile the pros head to Paris for the finale of the Tour\, we’ll organise transport for riders back to Lyon and Geneva Airports. \n\nWhat do we provide?\n6 night Tour de France experience\n\n6 nights of chalet accommodation in Vaujany\, twin share\n6 breakfasts and 4 dinners.\nGuided rides with a qualified coach.\nMechanical support\nVehicle support to maximise watching the Tour de France\nTransfers to and from Lyon or Geneva Airports (at extra cost)\n\nWhat we don’t provide:\n\nTravel insurance.\nLunches. and 2 dinners\n\nExtra services\n\nTransfers from and to Geneva or Lyon Airports (please contact us for price)\n\n  \nCost\n6 night Tour de France trip:  £1495 based on twin share accommodation \nSingle accommodation can be arranged\, subject to availability\, for an extra cost. \nTravel information\nRiders on this trip can fly into and out of Geneva or Lyon Airports or can travel independently to Alpe d’Huez. \nWe will provide transfers from and back to Lyon and Geneva Airport on Monday July 20th and Sunday July 26th. \nIdeally flights should arrive no later than early afternoon on July 20th and depart at lunchtime or after on July 26th. \nWe have some flexibility on pick up and drop off times\, please let us know which flights you are looking at before you book them so that we can confirm their suitability and also so we can confirm the transfer cost. \nDo the Etape du Tour as well!\nJoin us for our Etape du Tour trip that runs from 16-20 July!
