Guaranteed event entry included
The Etape du Tour Femmes avec Zwift will take place on August 8th on a stunning course near Clermont Ferrand in the Massif Central.
This incredible and unique event gives amateur riders the chance to ride a stage of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift with closed roads, feed stations and and a wonderful sporting atmosphere.
The big news for the 2027 event is that it will coincide beautifully with the climax of the Tour de France Femmes. Clermont Ferrand will provide the stage finish for stage 8 and the start of stage 9. Stage 9 will culminate on the spectacular slopes of the nearby Puy de Dome.
Our long weekend is designed so as to give riders a chance to watch the pros in action on the Friday and Saturday before riding the ‘Etape’ on the Sunday.
The schedule
Thursday August 5th
Collection of riders from Lyon Airport. 2 hours transfer to Clermont Ferrand
Friday August 6th
Guided morning warm up ride on local roads followed by a chance to watch the pro riders complete Stage 8 of the Tour dr France Femmes in the afternoon.
Collection of bib numbers and visit to the event village on Friday and Saturday.
Saturday August 7th
Guided ride in the morning. Stage 9 (final stage) of the Tour de France Femmes finishes in the afternoon at the summit of the Puy de Dome mountain. We’ll focus on spectating from the best points possible.
Sunday August 8th
Etape du Tour time! We’ll provide transport to the start which will be situated 10kms to the west of Clermont Ferrand at the ‘Panoramiques des Domes’. 138km and 2460m of climbing will take rider through a spectacular course around the Massif de Sancy including the iconic climb to Super Besse and the Cote de Guery. The race will finish at the Circuit de Charade, just outside Clermont Ferrand, enabling riders to gently descend back down to the city.

Cost
4 night Etape du Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift trip: £1295 based on twin share accommodation
Single accommodation can be arranged, subject to availability, for an extra cost.
Travel information
We will provide transfers from Lyon Airport on Thursday August 5th. We’ll provide return transfers to Lyon Airport on Monday August 9th.
Riders can arrive independently to Clermont Ferrand if they wish. We have some flexibility on pick up and drop off times, please let us know which flights you are looking at before you book them so that we can confirm their suitability and also so we can confirm the transfer cost.
