The Haute Route is, quite simply, the best amateur cycling event that we’ve come across. Haute Route Alps is a 7-day stage race with rankings/general classifications.

Haute Route is an incredible event and one that gives the rider an unparalleled ‘pro’ experience.

Alpine Cadence provides a complete package, including accommodation and support for riders.

The Alpine Candence package ensures you enjoy this event thoroughly, knowing that logistics are taken care of.

The 2023 edition of Haute Route Alps will take riders over 750 kilometres spread over seven stages.

There is around 20,000 metres of climbing.

The event will start on August 20th in Megève.

Seven challenging days later, the event will culminate on the banks of the Mediterranean in Nice.

Find complete details of the stunning Haute Route Alps on their blog.

As an official Haute Route Tour Operator, we can offer a complete package that includes entry to the event.

You can also take advantage of our accommodation support package if you’ve already entered the event.

Your entry to the event includes services provided by the Haute Route organisation.

We carefully design the Alpine Cadence accommodation and support package, so you get the best possible environment to ride and enjoy this enormous challenge.

What level of rider do you need to be to complete an Haute Route?

Drop Alpine Cadence a line to discuss what level of rider you need to complete the Haute Route.

We will only encourage you to join us if we are confident that your riding level is strong enough.

That said, the ‘cut off’ times in the event are generous, and it’s an event that’s very achievable for most keen road cyclists.

We are proud that all the riders who have joined Alpine Cadence for previous editions of Haute Route have completed the event comfortably within the time limit. A record we intend to continue.

Remember that as part of our accommodation and support package, we offer an additional free coaching service in the months leading up to the event.

Coaching ensures that you are as well prepared as possible for the challenge.
